We had fish, chips and coleslaw for dinner and it was great! We two ladies split a meal while the gentleman enjoyed a whole plateful! The servings are generous and the batter is light and crispy! A truly Canadian chain of restaurants with a wonderful origin story! Good service and clean surroundings. The lunch is less expensive and the breakfast is an amazing deal at 5.95!! We will be returning to check that out
This place worth so much more attention! GREAT price! The fish is fried perfectly with the fluffy batter. Fries is a bit on the boring and soft side. But hey, this kinda price gets you this kinda portion? I have nothing to complain about.
Their fish tacos are so . The haddock fish is fresh and tasty. The slaw adds that perfect flavour kick to the dish. I order double the orders of this because I can't get enough!
This place is excellent! The food was great, large portions, & nicely displayed. The service was also perfect. A bright, clean diner like place. Prices are very reasonable for portion sizes. Thank you Amy and staff. Will see you all soon!
As others have shown in their reviews the restaurant is very simple but clean Fish was cooked just right and their batter seems to be like a tempura batter, light and crispy. Portions good size but a little thin. However good overall as halibut is about 45/ pound to go and buy it Pop is out of a can
We tried the Cod fish & chips and Halibut burger, and both turned out to be delicious. The waitress was super kind and caring. We would definitely go back there.
Again a wonderful experience at Halibut House Kanata. This time a little bit different, Cod and Onion Rings, great combination. Will repeat on my next visit.
Special batter made the shrimp extra puffs and delicious, and also fresh. Cod was great but a bit oily. The most affordable fish and chips. Atmosphere is nice and clean. Waitresses are kind and patient to take our dynamic orders. Halibut fish and chips awesome.
